Life is a grand endeavor full of unknowingness. Everyday is a blank slate teeming with opportunities, eager for you to discover newfound information, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. Thus far, I have found the most rewarding practice in life to be teaching. After the end of the school year at Lumpkin, I have turned to online tutoring to continue my love for teaching. My hobbies include writing short stories, composing poetry, and delving into the works of a variety of authors. I have a Bachelors in the Arts from the University of North Georgia with a degree in English specified towards Secondary Education: English. I am certified to teach grades 6-12.

Echoes rain into an empty abyss.
Patiently he ponders beside the riverside, that’s where he sits.
Is there a key to this kingdom?
Can you guarantee a promise land?
No longer does this Earth wish to withstand the destruction we bring.
Are you alive or merely tangled, dangling from a string?
Every creature has a soul,
Every creation is a being.

The rain…the day splashes into the night
A walk along the shore with nothing but sight
A light… falls upon my skin

Digital Identity
I chose a picture of me from a year or so ago and included the symbols for youtube, reddit, and league of legends. I enlarged the League of Legends symbol due to the possibilities that this game has brought forth recently. Coaching League has been a major blessing within my life, and I am thankful for the time it has given me to bond and grow with my team. At first the strategy of this game can be quite tricky, and three of the students who joined the team this semester had never played the game before. The most important theme that I draw from League is patience. This is a virtue that allows you to stay safe and level headed, and each practice the students on my team continuously reflect growth and understanding. Another important factor that I reinforce through the coaching of League is moderation. I emphasize that fact that school should always come before playing League, and if the student’s grades begin to falter then they have to miss practice until their grade rises.
Youtube is a website that I have consistently used from an extremely young age. My main usage in relation to youtube is watching teaching practices that help further my capabilities as an educator. Most recently, I have been watching videos to help improve my overall capabilities as an educator and to further my knowledge on philosophy, world history, and mythology.
This semester I was offered a position coaching esports at LCHS. League of Legends has recently opened doorways for learning and growth in regards to myself and my team. The team is comprised of five students who meet M-F to practice. Our game days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Reddit has been a source of information that has both made me laugh and brought me to tears. There are infinite subreddits which include pictures, videos, articles, and content that is voted on by “redditors.” The posts that get the most upvotes appear on the home page for thousands and thousands of people to see. My favorite subreddit is “askreddit” which includes pages which involve many people depicting a variety interesting stories.
